Counseling/Psychotherapy
My style of counseling/psychotherapy is eclectic, because human beings are diverse and unique. What works for some does not work for all. First and foremost I strive to meet people where they are at with compassion, empathy, and helpful tools for change. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD with holistic and integrative methods.
Hypnotherapy/Emotional Freedom Technique
Hypnotherapy is simply training your mind and body to go into natural states of relaxation and focus, tapping into in states in which self-healing can occur. It is a powerful tool for healing from the past, expanding potential for the future, and deepening into the present moment.
Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as “tapping”, is a form of Energy Psychology. Many symptoms of physical pain, illness, and negative or limiting belief systems are rooted in unresolved emotions that result in energetic blockages. EFT clears the disruption in the energy field by tapping on acupuncture points while focusing on the issue being cleared.
Hypnotherapy and EFT can be incorporated into a psychotherapy session, or can be the main focus of our work together.
